Welcome to Hornbil Images - India's fastest growing stock photo agency. Our criterion for selection of contributors is quality and not experience or fame. If you have the real passion towards photography and if your images satisfy our technical requirements listed below, you are ready to join.

• Images from both film camera as well as digital camera are accepted.

• You may submit scanned or un-scanned images.
   Un-scanned images must be original slides or negatives with captions for the images.

• Scanning should be done in high end scanner like Nikon Cool Scan 5000 ED or above.
   Scanned images should be minimum 50MB in size while in TIF Format.

• We can scan the images for you for which we may charge a nominal fee.

• Do not resize or enlarge the image with software.

• Use a digital camera having a resolution of 6 Mega pixel or above.

• Ensure the following for digital camera images -

   - images are to be shot in RAW Format.
   - camera colour setting is set to Adobe RGB.
   - sharpening is set to to "None" or "Off".
   - not to enlarge or resize the image.

• The initial processes like dust correction, colour correction, etc of digital images should be done.

• IPTC/XMP data - caption and keyword - should be embedded in digital images.

• Avoid repetitions and submit images with diverse subjects.


General conditions: - Photographers who are serious in the vocation and able to contribute a sizeable number in regular intervals need only contact us. We expect our contributors to stay with us for at least three years.  Regular updating of stock is absolutely essential. Ours is the best commission structure in the industry and we make payments to the photographers within 15 days from the date of receipt of payment from the client.
